Stenosing tenosynovitis, commonly known as “trigger finger,” is a condition that involves the tendons located within the finger. The tendons located in the finger are held close to the bone by a series of pulleys which allows the tendons to glide easily when gripping or grabbing. Trigger finger occurs when the pulleys become thickened, preventing the tendons from gliding easily. Orlando Hand Surgery Associates can assist you with a trigger finger treatment plan. We are experts in alleviating pain and inflammation.
