George M. White, M.D.
Dr. George White, a Maryland native, received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from Johns Hopkins University. He completed 2 years of general surgery and an additional 3 years of orthopaedic residency at Hopkins. He then went on to the Curtis National Hand Center at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, where he completed a fellowship in Hand and Microvascular Surgery.
Board Certification:
Dr. George White is board certified in Orthopaedics with an added certification in Surgery of the Hand.
Awards/Honors:
Dr. George White was named as a Best Doctor by U.S. News & World Report. He has been named as one of America’s Top Doctors by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., as well as a Top Doctor by Consumers’ Checkbook. Dr. George White was also named one of the top 10 shoulder surgeons in the U.S. by Becker’s ASC Review, and named a Lifetime Member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. Most recently Dr. White was named America’s Most Honored Doctors in 2020 by The American Registry.
